Currently the playable area in Fleck is the contiguous US along with some parts of Canada and Mexico.
Fleck launched with the entire globe as playable space but ran into scale issues with many players accessing different locations all over the world. Consequently the data set was limited to focusing on the US (without Alaska and Hawaii) until Fleck can be expanded safely.
Typing in a location outside of the US will display a warning message, if you manage to travel outside the playable area (for example by traveling to a signpost that was placed outside the US before the game world was scaled down) you are redirected to Ellis Island.
